Business Case – Thai Oil Clean Fuels Project

- Deliveries from port from LCL to individual pieces up to 18 x 4.5 x 4.5 m – 60 MT
- Local transport from fabrication and module shops
- Long term rental of 3 self balastable barges for module movements
- Rental of Kerry Siam Port for module transhipment operations from HL vessel to barge
- Shipments to be moved prompt and delivered within agreed timelines
- Control Tower to be available 24/7 to each EPC spread across 3 different countries as well as 1 destination country
- Online tracking system to provide client with live information of all shipments
- Container shortages due to COVID-19 were a particular challenge given that China was the main origin for this project. The shortages meant that rates and availability were a challenge.
- Knock on affect of the container shortages was a rapid decrease in break bulk availability as well as an increase in rates.
